Islamabad, November 29, 2019 (PPI-OT): NUST School of Art, Design and Architecture (SADA), in collaboration with Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP), organised a 4-day “Architectural Criticism Workshop,” at NUST SADA, H-12 campus, on November 21-24, 2019. The training, held at SADA, was aimed at training the faculty from accredited Architecture schools of Pakistan for a continuous professional development.
The workshop also included an informative session for students of SADA, to help them increase their exposure and knowledge about architecture. Prof Dr Celal Abdi Guzar was the keynote speaker at the event. He has received a British Council research grant for his studies on ‘Architectural Criticism’ at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne. Güzer received his doctoral degree from METU where he is currently teaching architectural criticism. The faculty and students gained valuable exposure from the workshop and appreciated the initiative immensely.
