Lahore, September 13, 2021 (PPI-OT): A Webinar on “Recent Challenges of Youth: A Way Forward” was held by the Riphah International University, on 13th September, 2021. Director, Institute of Applied Psychology, Prof. Dr. Rafia Rafique spoke on The Recent Challenges of Youth in University Education: Focus on How to Move Forward. Highlighting the most important point of moving forward during the times of Covid-19 and adapting with the new normal, Prof. Dr. Rafia Rafique talked about the ways how both teachers and students can facilitate the process of learning.
The importance of keeping up with technology when education has shifted to online medium had been emphasized. The webinar encompassed speakers from various prestigious institutes of Pakistan including Prof. Dr. Goolam Hussain Rasool, Professor of Islamic Psychology, Dr. Shamaila Asad, Head of Department Riphah Institute of Clinical and Professional Psychology, Riphah International University and Dr. Amina Muazzam, Tenured Professor and Director Research at Lahore College for Women University spoke about various challenges of youth from an Islamic perspective, the health and social issues like maintaining social relationships along with education were discussed as well. Speakers thanked the webinar organizers and the questions by the participants were inculcated at the end of the webinar.
