Bahawalpur, November 08, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Planning and Development Board, Government of Punjab, organized a consultative meeting in Lahore for the establishment of Special Agro-Economic Zone in Cholistan through the rain augmentation project of Islamia University Bahawalpur. The meeting discussed and finalized the future road map of Islamia University Bahawalpur rain augmentation project for Cholistan. Chief Secretary Punjab Muhammad Abdullah Khan Simbal presided over the meeting. Additional Chief Secretary South Punjab Captain retired Saqib Zafar, Secretary Planning and Development Dr. Muhammad Sohail Anwar, Additional Secretary Planning and Development South Punjab Aftab Pirzada also participated in the meeting.
