Lahore, December 09, 2022 (PPI-OT):The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad inaugurated girls hostel (extended) 2nd floor of “Amina Hall” here on City Campus Lahore on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor said that the UVAS is striving to provide a comfortable accommodation to students. The hostel for girls comprised of 20 spacious rooms with all necessary facilities (wash rooms, kitchen, internet) etc. He visited newly constructed 2nd floor and reviewed the available facilities. He also appreciated the role of Building and Works Department staff efforts for successfully completion of this construction work.
Prof Dr Aftab Anjum, Hostel Warden Dr Jaweria Ali Khan, Principal Officer City Campus Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf, Project Director Shahnawaz Bukhari and a large number of faculty and staff members and students were present on the occasion.
Later UVAS Hostel Management arranged acknowledgement ceremony in the honours of supportive staff of (Hostel Management). They performed their duties day and night during UVAS Flood Relief Campaign 2022 with full of dedication in their respective fields. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad appreciated their efforts and services.
