Karachi, June 06, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Center for Executive Education (CEE) IBA, Karachi welcomed a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) delegation. The USAID team included, Director USAID, Sindh and Balochistan, Mr. Andrew Rebold; and Project Manager, Engineering, Mr. Adeel Ahmed.
Welcoming the audience, Director CEE, Dr. Rameez Khalid, presented a comprehensive overview explaining the dynamics of CEE. Convener Operational Excellence Forum along with the IBA-CEE team were also present to welcome the delegation. Apprising the importance of academia and industry linkages, Dr. Khalid stated, “CEE intends to provide capacity-building support to organizations in areas including but not limited to, corporate governance, leadership development, project management, finance and communications.”
He also highlighted recent milestones achieved by the Center, where the concept of forums was discussed, including the Operational Excellence Forum and Dispute Resolution Forum. The Operational Excellence Forum remained at the top of the discussion. Mr. Rebold appreciated the idea of forums bridging the gap between industry and educational institutions. He also briefed Team CEE about USAID’s ongoing development programs. Mementos were presented to the USAID team to conclude the event.
