Karachi, November 16, 2022 (PPI-OT):Teresa Chang, Political Officer of the US Embassy Islamabad, met Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection Faisal Karim Kundi in Islamabad. Teresa Chang is an expert on political issues, human rights and labour issues. He was accompanied by Mohammad Aftab Qureshi, Political Scientist of the American Embassy, Islamabad. Faisal Karim Kundi and Teresa Chang discussed issues of mutual interest.
Faisal Karim Kundi thanked the American government for the assistance provided to Pakistan in various fields. While discussing the political situation of Pakistan, Faisal Karim Kundi said that politicians sit together and discuss the possibilities of running the system efficiently. He further said that despite the difficult times of the Pakistan People’s Party government from 2008-13, when terrorism was on the rise in Pakistan and the government was dealing with the problems faced by millions of displaced people, we created an atmosphere of reconciliation in Pakistan.
