Khairpur, November 03, 2022 (PPI-OT): Two-Day Training Program on Professional Teaching Strategies of 21st Century organized by the Institute of English Language and Literature, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur in collaboration with Regional English Language Office (RELO) Pakistan and Vision Building Future with the support of US Embassy Islamabad concluded. The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto graced the occasion as a chief guest of the concluding session.
Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto appreciated the efforts of Director Institute of English Language and Literature Prof. Dr. Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah for bringing vibrant activities in the institute and also applauded the efforts of Ms. Afshan and Ms. Saba for their tremendous performance as a trainer. Dr. Ibupoto said I am optimistic that this training workshop will enhance the capacity building of the teachers of the various schools of Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) and others.
Prof. Dr. Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah praised and encouraged the continuous support of the Vice Chancellor for providing all facilities to the Faculty Members and Students of the institute. He said, during the course of workshop, teachers learnt about communication skills, teaching tools and methodology.
Mr. Maqbool Laghari, District Head Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) thanked to Vice Chancellor for providing platform to the teachers of various institutes. He advised the participants to impart the learning skills into their respective institutions so the students could be benefited academically.
Ms. Paras Niaz, Assistant Professor, Institute of English Language and Literature also spoke as guest speaker and conducted an interactive session on Teaching as a Profession. She stressed the teachers to equip themselves with the knowledge and expertise.
Mr. Abdul Rasheed Soomro, Assistant Professor, Institute of English Language and Literature presented the overall feedback of two days training and acknowledged professional development program by RELO. The shields and certificates were distributed among the guests and participants.
The closing ceremony was attended by the Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari. Mr Ali Raza Lashari, Mr. Zohaib Memon, Mr. Altaf Abro, Mr. Yasir Bhutto, Ms. Asia Akbar and a large number of participants were present.
