Lahore, May 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Teachers Training Academy (TTA) organized a training session on “Safety and Health in Workplace” at the University of Lahore (UOL) on May 18, 2022. More than 130 lab staff members from various departments participated in the session that was aimed at providing workers with skills and knowledge to identify hazards and how to assess the risk of managing incidents in the workplace.
Dr. Muhammad Ashraf (Rector, UOL) graced the occasion as the chief guest, and trainer Mr. Badar Munir (Manager Health, Safety and Environment – HSE) elucidated HSE’s several elements, including management commitment, hazard assessment process, safe working procedures, safety rules, training and performance tracking.
