Lahore, July 16, 2019 (PPI-OT): Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that on one hand, the PTI government had thrust the worst economic crisis on the country while on the other hand, the “Changa Manga” politics was being repeated. Addressing JI workers at Maidan, Dir, he said that there was no way out from the prevailing situation except the Islamic revolution. He therefore exhorted the masses and the JI workers to get ready for an Islamic revolution in the country.
The JI chief said that the public resentment against the government was increasing with every passing day. It had become difficult for the people to make both ends meet due to the current price hike. The common man was starving but the government spokesmen were talking of further increase in the prices. Businesses had been shut down. Under these circumstances, the masses could not be expected to applaud the government policies.
He further said that the wrong economic policies of the government had caused huge losses to the investors due to which the people were not willing to invest in the country. As a result, job opportunities were being reduced. If the situation remained unchanged, the country would be facing a worst recession. At the same time, he said, the people were facing serious food shortage.
Sirajul Haq said that the State Bank Governor had announced an increase in the interest rate thereby continuing the war with Allah and His Prophet. He said this decision was bound to ruin the country’s economy further.
