Lahore, September 04, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi met with a senior politician Nazir Ahmad Jutt at CMO. CM while talking on the occasion said that the present time needs to think above politics and the real politics at present is to serve the grief-stricken humanity which we are doing under the leadership of Imran Khan. He intimated that we have increased the number of special medical camps in the flood affected areas in order to prevent infectious diseases.
He apprised that necessary medical facilities and preventive medicines from infectious diseases are available in surplus quantity in the flood affected areas. CM said that on his direction Chief Secretary Kamran Afzal is once again present in the affected areas while the Provincial Ministers are also overseeing the relief activities in the affected areas. CM stated that he is himself overseeing the steps being taken for the rehabilitation of the affectees. CM denounced that unfortunately on the other hand the PDM parties are doing politics even in the given conditions.
He reprimanded that the apathetic attitude of the opponents indicate that they do not value the difficulties and calamities of their brothers and sisters. He censured that these people always displayed irresponsible behaviour on every important occasion including flood adding that their politics is not based on any principle or an ideology.
CM emphasised that to come forward to help the flood affectees is not less than a worship adding that it is our collective responsibility to help our calamity-stricken brothers and sisters. CM highlighted that the Punjab government is providing all possible resources to help the flood affectees. He maintained that the present time requires to forget our mutual differences and instead lend a helping hand to our distressed brothers and sisters. Nazir Ahmad Jutt is the father of Member National Assembly Ayesha Nazir Jutt and Arifa Nazir Jutt.
