A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Please tell us how satisfied you are with the legal procedure on a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 stands for completely dissatisfied and 5 stands for completely satisfied?” In response to this question, 34% gave a positive rating (4 or 5), 28% gave a neutral rating (3), 35% gave a negative rating (1 or 2), while 3% did not know or did not wish to respond.

The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1443 men and women in urban and rural areas of all four provinces of the country, during 5 November – 12 November, 2018. The error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 percent at the 95% confidence level.
