Bahawalpur, November 22, 2022 (PPI-OT):Director Industrial Engagement Islamia University Bahawalpur Dr. Muhammad Asif Khan has said that according to the vision of Vice Chancellor Engineer Professor Dr. Athar Mehboob, the Directorate of Industrial Engagement has been established in the university to increase cooperation with industrial institutions so that cooperation between industry and academia.
It should be improved and made useful for university and industrial institutions. Director Industrial Engagement Dr. Muhammad Asif Khan visited Punjab Food Authority along with Dr. Zulfiqar Ahmed, Chairman, Department of Food Sciences and Technology. Former Vice Chancellor Gambia University Africa and Country Director Halal Food Authority Professor Dr. Faqir Muhammad Anjum were also present on this occasion.
On this occasion, Deputy Director Punjab Food Authority Noman Yusuf discussed cooperation and collaboration in teaching and research between the two institutions, capacity building of teachers and officers, food security and quality assurance. Meanwhile, Director Industrial Engagement Dr. Muhammad Asif Khan also visited IT Base Industry Logic Rack. Chief Operating Officer Muhammad Bilal Hassan informed about the company profile and software development.
On this occasion, it was decided that Logic Rack Company will provide employment to 15 students of Islamia University Bahawalpur every year and will cooperate with Faculty of Computing Islamia University Bahawalpur.
Dr. Muhammad Asif Khan further informed that App Cart Industry located in Bahawalpur will cooperate in organizing conferences and seminars from different departments of Islamia University Bahawalpur. Computing will be done in collaboration with Islamia University, Bahawalpur.
