Islamabad, June 02, 2022 (PPI-OT):H.E. Mr. Chakkrid Krachaiwong, Ambassador of the Royal Thailand to Islamic Republic of Pakistan visited International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) along with Aiyarat Kosakul, First Secretary / head of Consular Section. He met with Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mumtaz, Director (Academics) and Officials of Overseas Students’ Section.
During the meeting, Ambassador discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of education and hoped for increase in induction of more Thai students for admission at IIUI. Thai Ambassador appreciated that 114 male and female students were studying at the University in various faculties.
Dr. Mumtaz, briefed about the vision of the University, faculties, disciplines, facilities, current activities and future plans. He also assured dignitaries to support foreigner students regarding their visa related issues in coordination with Ministry of Interior. At the end of the meeting a souvenir was also presented by Director (Academics) to the Ambassador of Thailand.
