Youth Parliament, Jadeed Pakistan hold seminar on Pakistan Day 

Karachi, March 24, 2022 (PPI-OT):Youth Parliament and Jadeed Pakistan Tahreek organized a seminar on the occasion of Pakistan Day aimed at paying a glowing tribute to Pakistanis who sacrificed their lives for the creation of an independent state of Pakistan.

The event was attended by Dr. Farooq Sattar, Salman Siddiqui, Zubair Moti Wala, Salman Siddiqui, CEO, SSCG, Hamza Yaqoob Tabani, CEO Tabani Group, Muhammad Jibran Nasir, Political Activist, Rehan Hashmi, former MNA MQM, Farheen Sheikh, Imtiaz Hussain, President Pakistan Agriculture and Horticulture Forum, Barrister Hallar Manzoor Wasan, Moshin Shiekhani, former Chairman ABAD, Professor Dr Syed Irfan Hyder, Vice Chancellor Ziauddin University and other notable political and social figures. The event was organized in collaboration with Salam Estate and Builders and Dream Nex. Dr, Farooq Sattar a former Mayor Karachi, said Pakistan’s Day harked back to the endeavours and sacrifices of our political leadership and forefathers who strived hard for an independent country.

Carrying forward their legacy, the youth should also come forward to play their role in addressing the issues and challenges of the modern city of Karachi and the residents of a mega cosmopolitan city. He mentioned that the young generation constituting 60 percent of the Pakistani population is the future of the county and many of these will be at the helm of affairs, hence youngsters should not only explore their careers in the professions of medicine, engineering, computers science, and etc. but they should also serve the country through making foray into political issues of the country.

Zubair Mottiwala, Former President Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) said the development and welfare of Karachi and its residents could be done in a sustainable way for providing leadership opportunities to young people from top to bottom levels. Karachi is the economic engine of the country and its development is indispensable for the progress and prosperity of the entire Pakistan, he said adding the political and religious parties should take the ownership of the city and encourage the youth to control the affairs of the city with an utmost responsibility.

Rizwan Jaffer, Founder and Chairman Youth Parliament, said the Pakistani youth is impressively patriotic having a vision of serving the country and its people through their talent in different capacities. Stating the objectives of Youth Parliament, he told the audience the members of this forum are highly talented and high-achievers in different fields with a noble ambition to work hard for development of the country and welfare of the masses.
