Super 6 Round Al-Kabir Punjab League

Lahore, March 05, 2023 (PPI-OT): Super-6 round between six qualifier teams of Al-Kabir Punjab League (Lahore Lions, Gujranwala Gladiators, Faisalabad Falcons, Rawalpindi Panthers, D.G. Khan Dragons and Multan Knights) was held today on 05th March 2023 at Punjab College Campus 8 Lahore.

 

In Super-6 round pool-A Lahore Lions, Rawalpindi Panthers ad Multan Knights competed with each other. On other Pool-B Faisalabad Falcons, D.G. Khan Dragons and Gujranwala Gladiators were competed.

 

In the result Lahore Lions, Rawalpindi Panthers, Faisalabad Falcons and Gujranwala Gladiators makes their place in Fantastic-4 (final round).

 

In this competition Mr. Tariq Mehmood Khanzada Divisional Sports Officer Lahore, Aftab Ahmad International Athlete and Mr. Sajid representative Pakistan Karate Federation in Commonwealth were Chief Guest. They appreciated and encourage all the 6 divisions / players participated in the competition and ensure the players very soon they announce a tournament in Lahore for Punjab Karate Association. Event was closed with vote of thanks by Ms. Andleeb Sandhu General Secretary Pakistan Karate Federation.

D.G. Khan Dragons and Multan Knights Qualify for Super-6 Round in Al-Kabir Punjab Karate League 

Lahore, February 26, 2023 (PPI-OT):Pool-C (round-1) of Al-Kabir Punjab Karate League was held today on 26th February 2023 at Govt. Islamia High School, Aam Khas Bagh, Multan. In Pool-C (round-1) D.G. Khan Dragons, Bahawalpur Bulls and Multan Knights competed with each other. D.G. Khan Dragons and Multan Knights qualified for super-6 round.

The next round is Super-6 round, in which our six qualifier teams (Lahore Lions, Gujranwala Gladiators, Faisalabad Falcons, Rawalpindi Panthers, D.G. Khan Dragons and Multan Knights) will compete with each other for Fantastic-4 (final round).

In first pool of Super-6 round three teams (Faisalabad Falcons, D.G. Khan Dragons and Gujranwala Gladiators) will compete with each other for Fantastic-4 (final round) on 5th March 2023 at Gujranwala. In second pool of Super-6 round (Lahore Lions, Rawalpindi Panthers and Multan Knights) will compete with each other for Fantastic-4 (final round) on 12th March 2023 at Rawalpindi.

Mr. Muhammad Tufail Chairman Punjab Karate Association, Mr. Muhammad Nadeem Qureshi Ex. MPA-Parliamentary Secretary PP-216, Sheikh Khawar Akbar CEO of Shapes and Pervaiz Ahmed Sulehri President Divisional Karate Association Multan were Guest of Honour at the occasion.

Mr. Muhammad Nadeem Qureshi Ex. MPA- Parliamentary Secretary PP-216 was the Chief Guest and in his closing speech he encouraged the participants and appreciated initiative of Punjab Karate Association and patronage of Pakistan Karate Federation. He further said that such leagues are also the Talent hunt events and must be continued in future. Faisalabad Falcons and Rawalpindi Panthers Qualify for Super-6 Round in Al-Kabir Punjab Karate League 

Lahore, February 20, 2023 (PPI-OT):Pool-B (round-1) of Al-Kabir Punjab Karate League was held today 19th February 2023 at Samna Bad Sports Complex Faisalabad. In Pool-B (round-1) Faisalabad Falcons, Rawalpindi Panthers and Sargodha Shaheens competed with each other at Faisalabad. Faisalabad Falcons and Rawalpindi Panthers qualify for super 6 round.

In Pool-C Bahawalpur Bulls, Multan Knights and D.G. Khan Dragons will compete on Sunday 26th February 2023 at Multan in Pool-C.

Competitions are being held in 7 weight categories, Individual Kata and Team Kata events.

In Super-6 round, qualified teams will compete for Fantastic-4 (final round).

Lahore Lions and Gujranwala Gladiators Qualify for Super-6 Round in Al-Kabir Punjab Karate League

Lahore, February 12, 2023 (PPI-OT): Al-Kabir Punjab Karate League started here today at Lahore. Lahore Lions and Gujranwala Gladiators qualify for Super-6 round. Pakistan Karate Federation has started the karate league from grass root level. All the 9 divisions of Punjab are participating in this league. In first round Lahore Lions, Gujranwala Gladiators and Sahiwal Spartans competed with each other at Lahore today in which Lahore Lions and Gujranwala Gladiators qualify for super 6 round.

Faisalabad Falcons, Rawalpindi Panthers and Sargodha Shaheens will compete on next Sunday 19th February 2023 at Faisalabad in Pool-B. In third round Bahawalpur Bulls, Multan Knights and D.G. Khan Dragons will compete on Sunday 26th February 2023 at Bahawalpur in Pool-C.

Competitions are being held in 7 weight categories, Individual Kata and Team Kata events. In round Super-6, qualified teams will compete for Fantastic-4 (final round). Mr. Muhammad Jahangir Chairman Pakistan Karate Federation and Deputy Secretary General Pakistan Olympic Association was the Chief Guest at the occasion. He appreciated the efforts of Punjab Karate Association and Lahore Division Karate Association for the promotion of Karate at Grass root level. He announces that Pakistan Karate Federation will start all Pakistan karate league for player ranking.

Al-Kabir Punjab Karate League

Lahore, February 10, 2023 (PPI-OT):Pakistan Karate Federation is organizing karate league as talent hunt program in all the Provinces and Islamabad. Al-Kabir Punjab Karate League is starting on Sunday 12th February 2023 at Gymnasium hall of Punjab college campus 8 Ferozepur Road Lahore. In Punjab Competition will be held in 3 zones, 6 teams will qualify for next round and 4 teams will qualify for final round.

The opening ceremony of the league will start on Sunday between Lahore, Sahiwal and Gujranwala, competition will start at 3:00 Pm. All Media friends are requested to witness the competition on Sunday 12th February 2023.

Excellent Performance of Pakistan Karate Team in 6th South Asian Cadet, Junior, U-21 and Senior Karate Championship Colombo Sri Lanka

Lahore, November 29, 2022 (PPI-OT):6th South Asian Cadet, Junior, U-21 and Senior Karate Championships were held on 27-28 November 2022 at Colombo Sri Lanka.

Pakistani karate players performed excellent by winning 7 Gold, 11 Silver and 8 Bronze medals in the championship. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Sri Lanka participated in the championships. India participated with 72 players, Bangladesh with 48 players, Sri Lanka with 73 players and Pakistan with 17 players won 26 medals. Saifullah won 2 Gold medals in individual Kata and team Kata by beating Indian players, Irshad Ali won 2 Gold medals in U-21 Individual Kata and team Kata, Muhammad Kashif 1 Gold, Arzo 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze, Mah Gul 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 3 Bronze, Hamayun 1 Gold and 1 Silver, Muhammad Asim 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medals.

Pakistan karate team will now participate in 18th Asian karate championship to be held from 16-20 December 2022 at Tashkent Uzbekistan.
