Kohat, January 14, 2023 (PPI-OT):I am so much delighted to join FATA University as a Vice Chancellor for the greater cause of building a platform for providing higher education in the erstwhile Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), especially in the face of reality that it is the first ever university established for the youth of this region.

The university is in the nascent stage of development and after my humble contribution to the development of university of Swat, I am looking forward to a very productive and positive contribution to the development of FATA University located in the Tehsil Sub Division (TSD) Darra Adam Khel of the Newly Merged District (NMD) Kohat.

I have a deep interest in the erstwhile FATA region and is fully motivated to bring in change in the lives of people of the area through higher education, believing in providing educational facilities at the door step of common people. I have always talked very high of the people of the area as Pakhtuns psyche has been the focus of my researches.

It is so heartening to see the area merged into Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and efforts are on for its development as part of the development initiative taken by the Government in the larger interest of the public. These efforts will make the life of people easy in this part of our beloved country and in the suffering of people will ultimately lessened. As we all know this region has been suffering (for decades) due to its proximity with Afghanistan and some other factors, which affected the process of development to a great extent.

I am looking forward to a speedy and strong development goals achievements, focusing on my vision and plan for Higher education in the region. I am hopeful that with the help and support of government and local population we will achieve our targets. May Allah help us in our vision, mission, strategic plan, and good intentions?

Kohat, November 09, 2022 (PPI-OT):The candidates on the open merit and reserved merit list are directed to appear for the interview on November, 8, 9 and 10, 2022, at 09:00 AM at main campus, FATA University. The candidate are further directed to bring Admission Fee, original and attested photocopies of the following documents

(i). Admission From

(ii). Bank Original Draft/Original Fee Receipt

(iii). CNIC or form B

(iv). All DMC, s and Certificates

(v). Domicile Certificate

(vi). Two Passport Size Pictures

The candidates on the waiting list are directed to keep visiting FATA University website for second and third merit lists. The time and date for the interview for waiting list candidates will be shared on the university website www.fu.edu.pk and FATA University official Facebook page. Kohat, November 05, 2022 (PPI-OT):All the candidates are informed to check the provisional merit list carefully for any error or misinformation and report it to the In-charge Admission Cell, FATA University either physically or through email at @ dr.nasirkhan@fu.edu.pk or phone 091-5885500, Ext-175 /03105578583 for correction before the display of Final Merit list i.e. November 7, 2022 Morning. In case of email, the candidate must write his/her Name, Father Name, CNIC and Contact details.

In case of false information provided by the applicant(s), they will forfeit the right of admission. Furthermore, if the documents attached were found fake, they will cease the right of admission for being guilty of gross misconduct and a criminal act on their part.

Kohat, March 26, 2022 (PPI-OT):All candidates who applied against the vacant positions of Additional Registrar (BPS-19), Additional Treasurer (BPS-19), Deputy Registrar (BPS-18) and Deputy Director Administration (BPS-18) are hereby informed that the scheduled meeting of Selection Board on 26-27th March, 2022 has been postponed due to technical issues.
