Islamabad, June 29, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Department of English organized a free ‘IELTS Introductory Session’ on June 20, 2022. Dr. Muhammad Saqib Zaigham, IELTS Specialist and Trainer, Department of English, CUST, served the occasion as a resource speaker. Dr. Muhammad Saqib Zaigham has more than twenty years of experience conducting IELTS training sessions at national and international level.

The speaker shared various tips and tricks to successfully enhance listening, speaking, reading and writing capabilities. Moreover, the speaker also enlightened the participants with essential DOs and DONTs of IELTS examination. Dr. Muhammad Saqib Zaigham also informed the participants about a one-month IELTS session to be held in Summer-2022. At the end of the session, a brief and productive question/answer session was held to address the queries of the participants.

Islamabad, June 27, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Faculty of Computing FoC, organized a Certificate Distribution Ceremony on June 22, 2022 to distribute certificates among the participants of a Samsung Innovation Campus Program. The Samsung Innovation Campus Program was held at Capital University of Science and Technology from September 27, 2021 to December 15, 2021.

It was an extensive course of over 200 hours with focus on Artificial Intelligence. 41 Students from Department of Software Engineering, Department of Computer Science and Department of Electrical Engineering participated in the course. 11 Faculty members from SE, EE and CS department took part as Trainer and Facilitator in this course. Dean FOC, Dr. M. Abdul Qadir awarded the participants with certificates.

Islamabad, June 27, 2022 (PPI-OT):On 24th June 2022, Department of Associate Degree Computer Science held walk activity on the Awareness of Drugs, under the supervision of Ms. Javeria Khalid. The activity was fully funded. The activity was inaugurated by HOD of Associate Degree Programs Wg. Cdr. Saqib Naveed.

Faculty members and student from different departments of Capital University of Science and Technology graced the occasion with there presence. Throughout, the activity the discipline was maintained.

Our guest speaker, Mr. Sameer Ahmed, from the Floret Commodities, is a branch head and has experience in the field of trading. The purpose of this seminar was to enlighten the students on the importance of commodity trading at PMEX.

Islamabad, June 25, 2022 (PPI-OT):Department of Psychology organized a session on Wednesday June 22, 2022. Mr. Sabahuddin Waqar, EQ Trainer and Coach served the occasion as a guest speaker. The goal of the session was to enlighten the meaning of Emotional Intelligence (EI) in its true essence along with the techniques to read and label different emotions as well as learning strategies to manage them. Guest speaker comprehensively addressed the key features of EI by involving the audience via different activities. At the end, Ms. Rabia Batool, the organizer of seminar presented a souvenir to the guest and delivered the closing remarks.
