Karachi, June 03, 2018 (PPI-OT): Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, visited the house of Sabika Sheikh, the 17 year old Karachi girl who fell prey to terrorism in the US state of Texas, recently and expressed deep grief over her martyrdom. He offered his condolences to the family members of the unfortunate girl. He was accompanied by JI Karachi chief Hafiz Naeemur Rahman, chief of the Islami Jamiat e Talaba Pakistan, Muhammad A’Ami and others.
Talking to the media on the occasion, the JI chief said that Sabika Sheikh was a brilliant child and had gone to the US for education, and her family had great expectations from her. He said it was the US government responsibility to take immediate notice of the incident but the US authorities had not taken any positive action in this respect. He said that the US authorities had not contacted the bereaved family on this score.
Sirajul Haq said there was deep concern in this country on account of the students studying there and the US authorities should take necessary measures for the security of students. He said the JI and the entire Pakistani nation shared the grief of Sabika’s family and prayed for the departed soul.
