Lahore, June 30, 2018 (PPI-OT): Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that the caravan had started and the present corrupt system was destined to collapse. Addressing a big public meeting at Safdar Abad, railway station in Sheikhupura on Saturday evening, he said that the people had begun questioning the candidates about their performance and if they displayed the same courage on the polling day, all the Pharaohs would be drowned and the status quo forces 2ontbe able to save them.
JI district chief and MMA candidate from the NA 122, Sarfraz Khan, and MMA candidate for provincial assembly Ch. Khalid Mehmud Virk, also addressed the meeting. The JI chief was accorded a rousing welcome on arrival in the town and he also led a big rally from Kot Ranjit Singh inter change. A large number of local youth joined the rally. The JI chief said that the solution of all the problems of the country lay in the Nizam e Mustafa. He said that unless and until the country was reverted to the goal of its creation, the problems would continue to pile up. He said the very first point of the MMA election manifesto was the enforcement of the Shariah.
Sirajul Haq said that the MMA would retrieve the billions of the public money plundered by the corrupt and also free the homeland from the burden of loans and interest. He said that for the last seventy years, the country remained in the grip of land mafia, sugar mafia and drug mafias, who had been building personal empires through loot and plunder while the common man was without basic facilities of life. He said if the country at present was without basic facilities of educational, health and jobs and even lacked clean drinking water, it was because the budgets meant for these were plundered or misappropriated by the corrupt rulers who had been coming into power by changing their faces and parties.
He said that once again, the same old faces were around and were trying to mislead the masses through new slogans and tall promises. However, he said, that the masses were enlightened and that was why the candidates were facing hard questions and strong public reaction. Sirajul Haq said that if the electorate showed the same spirit and voted for honest and patriotic candidates instead of thugs and dacoits, the polling day would prove the day of deliverance from the corrupt and selfish people.
