Senator Sirajul Haq visits Chamb and Bhimber sectors at LoC; offers fateha at Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed’s grave

Lahore, March 05, 2019 (PPI-OT): Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, visited the Chamb and Bhimber sectors at the LoC on Tuesday. He also offered fateha at the grave of Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed. He was accompanied by JI chief for Azad Kashmir, Khalid Mehmud, JI chief for central Punjab, Amirul Azeem and JI Chief for northern Punjab, Dr Tariq Saleem and the JI Information Secretary, Qaiser Sharif.

 

Addressing the people at Bhimber, the JI chief said that India was continuously bombing the border areas of the country while Indian Prime Minister Modi was breathing fire due to which both Pakistan and India were in danger. Sirajul Haq however said that Soviet Union had collapsed due to the Afghan Jehad while the Kashmiris struggle for independence would end up in the dismemberment of India. He said that there was situation of revolt in many part s of India as the Indian government was trying to crush the minorities.

 

He said that Indian rulers had opted for aggression against Pakistan in order to hide their failures. He said the Pakistan government had been hoping that the release of the captured Indian pilot would help improve the situation but the Indian response was just the opposite. He said that India had banned the Jamaat e Islami in Held Kashmir, sealed JI offices and arrested its workers. The JI chief said that Kashmir was not a piece of land, it was an ideology. He said that no arms and ammunition could crush an ideology.

 

Sirajul Haq said that the courageous people of Pakistan stood behind the Pak army and the Kashmiris. He said that the country’s youth were strong and firm like the Himalayas as Maj. Aziz Bhatti Shaheed and Capt. Sarwar Shaheed were the model for them. He said the soldiers who had laid down their lives were the heroes of the nation. He said that thousands of our people had been rendered homeless due to the enemy shelling. He said that the homes of the JI leaders and workers were open for these families.

 

The JI chief said that 50 Indian troops were killed in Pulwama attack but New Delhi propagated that this was terrorism from Pakistan. He said the fact had been that an eighteen year Kashmir youth Adil had made the Pulwama attack in reaction to the Indian troops brutalities against the Kashmiris. He said that more than one lakh Kashmiris had been martyred in the Kashmir while thousands of t hem had been rendered blind due to pellet guns.
