Lahore, January 05, 2019 (PPI-OT): Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has said that the Kashmir Solidarity Week from February one to five next was of immense importance in the present Kashmir situation as India’s brutalities and its tactics to stifle the Kashmiris voice had failed. He said this during his meeting with the chief of the Azad Kashmir JI Dr Khalid Mehmud, and former JI chief for Azad Kashmir, Abdur Rashid Turabi. He said that the right of self-determination was the basic right of the Kashmiris.
Liaqat Baloch paid tributes to the former JI chief Qazi Husain Ahmed, for his untiring efforts for the unity of the Muslim Ummah and against the oppression going on against the Muslims in different parts of the world. The JI Secretary General expressed deep grief over the demise of PPP leader, Malik Hakimeen Khan.
