PU IAP organized an on-campus seminar on “Anger and Aggression in Gambling Disorder”

Lahore, October 06, 2021 (PPI-OT):Institute of Applied Psychology, University of the Punjab, Lahore organized an on-campus seminar on “Anger and Aggression in Gambling Disorder” on 6th October, 2021 at 12 pm. It was a one-day interactive session chaired by Prof. Dr. Rafia Rafique; Professor/ Director at Institute of Applied Psychology and conducted by Dr. Arshad Mahmood, Director at Heartland Professional Services, Toronto, Canada. The talk was a hands-on-learning experience for the students where Dr. Arshad Mahmood shared his learned perspective on his clinical practice, the scope and the growing opportunities in Canada.

He enunciated the research work going on aggression, gambling disorder and drug addicts. Since it was an interactive session, the questions asked by the students were efficiently answered by the speaker throughout. The informative seminar ended up motivating students to opt for higher studies and career in a foreign country like Canada. The seminar ended with the presentation of a bouquet and certificate by Prof. Dr. Rafia Rafique; Professor/ Director, Dr. Fatima Kamran; Associate Professor and Dr. Afifa Anjum; Assistant Professor at Institute of Applied Psychology, University of the Punjab, Lahore.
