Lahore, March 25, 2023 (PPI-OT): In the latest QS subject-wise ranking, Punjab University has been included in the global ranking for the first time in the subject of Economics and Econometrics. Punjab University has been included in the world’s best 451 to 450 universities in the said field. Punjab University Dean Faculty of Business, Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof Dr Mumtaz Anwar Chaudhry said that the Faculty of Economics of Punjab University is delivering excellent performance.
He said that the School of Economics and other departments will also play a role in solving the country’s economic problems. The university teachers while congratulating the former vice chancellor said that due to the initiatives of Prof Dr Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, the university has improved its international ranking. Earlier, several subjects of the university have already been included in international rankings.
