Islamabad, June 02, 2022 (PPI-OT):H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud Al-Otaibi, President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) visited Faculty of Engineering and Technology and interacted with the faculty members. On this occasion, expressing his views, President, IIU said that the faculty members are the asset of the university and their role is paramount for the betterment and development of the university. Dr. Hathal added that with team work, we can take our university to its destination as one of the best universities of the world”.
Vice President (Academics) Prof. Dr. Ayaz Afsar, Vice President (R and E), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, Dean, FET, Dr. Nadeem Shaikh, senior faculty members, staff and lab engineers of Department of Electrical Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Civil Engineering were also present on the occasion.
All the faculty members gave views and suggestions for the betterment of the faculty. Various issues were also discussed during the session. The President, IIU assured that all the issues and problems of the faculty would be resolved on priority basis. The IIU President said that two foreign faculty members from Saudi universities shall be joining the Mechanical and Electrical Departments in Fall 2022.
