Karachi, November 09, 2022 (PPI-OT):Pakistan People’s Party Chairman and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has strongly condemned the burning of a girls’ school in Dariel area near Diamir in Gilgit-Baltistan by miscreants. According to a statement issued by media cell Bilawal Hawass, the PPP chairman in his reaction said that the burning of the girls’ school was equivalent to the attack on Pakistan by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal.
He demanded the immediate arrest of the accused involved in the incident and emphasized that the government of Gilgit-Baltistan should ensure the security of the educational institutions and the teachers and students associated with them, especially the female teachers and students. The foreign minister said that Pakistan will deal with such elements with iron hands, who want to force their political agenda on the people in the name of religion.

He further said that Islam is the name of establishing equality and justice between men and women in the society. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Pakistan People’s Party will not suffer any compromise on the issue of women’s education, development and independence.
