Lahore, August 14, 2021 (PPI-OT):A grand Independence Day celebration was organized under the auspices of Pakistan Federation Baseball. Syed Fakhar Ali Shah President, Sheikh Mazhar Ahmad Secretary General and other officials along with national baseball players cut the Independence Day cake and distributed sweets at the Federation’s Lahore office.
During the celebrations, the participants gave Independence Day messages to the people of the country. President Syed Fakhar Ali Shah said that on this auspicious occasion of happiness, we congratulate all Pakistanis and baseball players and sports families living in Pakistan and abroad and pray for the safety of our dear compatriots and may Allah bless them.
He added that by making a concerted effort, we will keep the green flag of Pakistan high on the sports fields as well and will further enhance our performance. Sheikh Mazhar Ahmad (Secretary General), Dr. Shaheen Gulraiz (Guest of Honour), Mussadiq Hanif (Head Coach), Jamil Kamran (Chairman Umpiring Association), Tariq Nadeem (Coach Women Team), Umair Imdad Bhatti, Muhammad Khawar, Syed Ali Khawar (Baseball Players) other officials and guest including Nadeem Sajjad Shah, Amir Imdad Bhatti, Rana Abdul Jabbar, Chaudhary Yaseen and Muhammad Ahsan Gujjar were also present on the occasion.
