Chitral, June 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):The University of Chitral, in collaboration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Centre of Excellence on Countering Violent extremism and Paigham e Pakistan center for peace, Reconciliation and Reconstruction studies, Islamic Research Institute, International Islamic University Islamabad organized a one-day National Youth Conference titled “Paigham e Pakistan”.
Prominent Guest Speakers on the occasion were Dr. Abdu Rehman Khalil, Assistant Professor University of Peshawar, Dr. Abdul Moheman, University of Haripur, Muhammad Israr Madani, president of International Research Council for religious affairs, and Dr. Kashif Irshad Director KP Countering Violent Extremism.
Addressing the participants the speakers said that Paigham e Pakistan is a message of peace. This is the joint statement of the scholars of all schools of thought. It is the most important document in the history of Pakistan after the resolution.
The Chief Guest of the program was Vice-Chancellor University of Chitral, Prof. Dr. Zahir Shah. In his concluding remarks, the Vice-Chancellor said that Islam teaches the path of moderation. Youth are the assets of the nation. They have to play an important role in the prosperity of the nation and they are the ambassadors of the peace. Youth have to convey the message of Paigham e Pakistan. The convention was co-organized by the Directorate of Student Societies and facilitated by the Department of Urdu and the Directorate of ORIC, University of Chitral.
