Lahore, March 01, 2019 (PPI-OT): Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has said that India’s jingoism, its craze for supremacy in the region and the violation of the minorities were at peak and the war beginning on the pretext of the Pulwama incident was going to end up in India’s destruction. Addressing the Talent Award function of the Jamiat e Talaba Arabia, at Mansoora, he said that the entire Pakistani nation stood behind its armed forces and the government was not alone in the face of the enemy aggression.
The JI Secretary General said that Indian pilots’ release was a good decision but it would have been better if this decision had followed the release of the Kashmiris leadership and the end of the brutalities in Held Kashmir. Liaqat Baloch said that peace was essential for regional development but the importance of the US withdrawal from Afghanistan and the grant of the Kashmiris right of self-determination could not be underestimated in the present changed situation.
