Lahore, October 30, 2021 (PPI-OT):Newly elected President of the Supreme Court Bar Association Senior Lawyer Ahsan Bhun along with a delegation calls on Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, Federal Minister for Water Resources Moonis Elahi and General Secretary Muslim League Punjab Senator Kamil Ali Agha here.
The delegation included Senators Azam Nazir Tarar, Tahir Nasrullah Warraich and Imran Chattha while Muhammad Khan Bhatti, Jahangir A. Jhojha, Nadir Duggal, Arshad Jahangir Jhojha, Asif Mehmood Cheema and Raja Muqaddas were also present in the meeting.
Congratulating the newly elected officials, Ch Parvez Elahi said that it was an honour to be elected President of the Supreme Court Bar. Today, those who believe in democratic philosophy have won. Lawyers have a role to play in maintaining moderation in society. Lawyers are expected not to support any unconstitutional action, lawyers will continue to work hard for the supremacy of the Constitution.
President Supreme Court Bar Senior Lawyer Ahsan Bhun thanked Ch Parvez Elahi and said that your party fully supported us, your cooperation turned our success into a huge margin, the lawyer’s community continues to fight for their rights. He said that we will continue to fight for their rights. We cannot forget the facilities you provided to the lawyers community as the Chief Minister of Punjab. Ch Parvez Elahi has always raised his voice for the rights of lawyers. Earlier, Fateha was also offered on the death of senior advocate Jahangir A. Jhojha’s wife and Arshad Jahangir Jhojha’s mother.
