Wendell Labrooy, a member of the International Panel of ICC Match Referees, will make his ODI debut as a match referee today (21 January), during the Afghanistan vs Netherlands ODI series in Qatar. Labrooy, 50, made his ICC international panel debut as a match referee in 2018 during a Sri Lanka women’s vs Pakistan women’s T20 game. A former first-class cricketer, Labrooy has officiated in T20 Internationals.
