KSBL Paid Homage to Martyrs of Armed Forces and Kashmir Massacre

Karachi, September 12, 2019 (PPI-OT):To pay homage for sacrifices of the Pakistan’s Armed Forces for motherland and to show solidarity with the people of Kashmir, KSBL organized Defence/Kashmir Solidarity Day. Dr. Muhammad Athar Siddiqui (Associate Dean, KSBL) graced the event with flag hoisting ceremony. Speaking on the occasion he paid tribute to the selfless services of the armed forces of Pakistan and expressed his sentiments on the atrocities happening in Kashmir.


While sharing her thoughts on the event, Ms. Shona Iram (Sr. Manager Admissions, Alumni Relations) shared her childhood memories told by her grandparents, regarding the historic event. She further conducted a brief Q and A session with students in which she asked about prominent incidents that occurred in the unforgettable war of 1965.


Later heart-warming speeches by students expressed the feelings of this generation regarding Pakistan Defence Day. They also shared their emotions towards current ongoing violation of human rights, and the price of freedom for people of Kashmir. By the end of the session all students participated in creating canvas paintings, depicting peace and harmony in Kashmir and candlelight vigil activity to show solidarity with the oppressed victims there.
