Kashmir solidarity day observed enthusiastically at Rawalpindi Arts Council

Rawalpindi, February 05, 2019 (PPI-OT): To observe Kashmir Solidarity Day Arts Council organized different activities at its premises. A tableau competition among school students was arranged in which Member National Assembly Sheikh Rashid Shafiq was chief guest. In his address, he said that it was possible to suppress the voices of Kashmiri people for liberation with tyranny and oppression. He said that they were telling to the whole world that violation of human rights was being committed by Indian forces.

Parliamentary Secretary for Kashmir Affairs Sobia Kamal, in a visit to photographic exhibition on atrocities of Indian army, said that she believed that innocent Kashmiris would get liberation from India. She said that hundreds of thousand Kashmiris had been martyred in Kashmir until now but international organizations have not taken notice of it. Naheed Manzoor also addressed and said that all Pakistanis were in solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir.

Director RAC Waqar Ahmed said on the occasion that oppression on Kashmiri people was not tolerable. A walk led by Dr Ghazanfar Mehdi was also organized in collaboration with Aim Association attended by religious scholars and others figures of the society. Dr Ghazanfar Mehdi said that it was lamentable on the complete silence of international community on Kashmir issue. He said that India must be compelled to sit on dialogue table.
