Karachi University awards 10 PhD and 21 MPhil degrees in various disciplines

Karachi, March 03, 2019 (PPI-OT): The Board of Advanced studies and Research, University of Karachi has awarded 10 PhD and 21 MPhil degrees in various disciplines, the KU Registrar, Muhammad Sohail announced. He mentioned that the recent meeting of BASR held under the supervision of the KU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Ajmal Khan has also given formal approval in this regard.


He said that M Nauman Khalid of Quran and Sunnah, Rukhsana from Women Studies, Farheen Jabeen of Genetics, Muhammad Jawed from Marine Biology, Muhammad Irfan Akram of Chemistry (HEJ), Samina Sultan Qureshi from Zoology, Mozaffar Rahim Hingorjo of Physiology, M Kamran Khan and Faisal from Chemistry and Aisha Aziz of Pharmacology were awarded with PhD degrees.


Meanwhile, the KU Registrar further said that Adnan Aziz from Geography, Saeeda Khanam of Chemistry, Gul Rahman from Philosophy, Muhammad Yousuf of Islamic Learning, Muneeb Ali, Mariam Ameer, Saeed ur Rahman, Uzma Bibi, Asad Ullah, Ghulam Mohiuddin, Zaib Un Nisa and Basma Khan from Chemistry (HEJ), Faryal Ashraf of Molecular Medicine, Hira Mehwish, Amna Sohail Rawat and Muhammad Arif from Applied Economics (AERC), Syed Sarfaraz Uddin Jilani of Quran and Sunnah, Kinza Abid from Environmental Studies, Saqib Ali of Agriculture and Agribusiness, Muneera Junejo from Sociology and Sana Wajih of ISPA were awarded with MPhil degrees.
