Jamaat-e-Islami Youth starts “Clean Sindh-Green Sindh” Campaign

Karachi, March 28, 2019 (PPI-OT): The Jamaat-e-Islami Youth Wing Sindh has started “Clean Sindh-Green Sindh” Campaign from Mazar-e-Quaid. The campaign would lasted till 25-April in which the workers of JI Youth would plant millions of saplings across the Sindh Province. The Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman yesterday inaugurated the “Clean Sindh-Green Sindh” Campaign by sapling a plant in front of Mazar-e-Quaid.

On the occasion, the leaders and workers of different political and religious parties were also present. The JI Karachi Secretary Information Zahid Askari, JI Youth Sindh President Farhad Gul, JI Youth Karachi President Hafiz Bilal Ramzan and others were also present on the occasion. Talking to media, Hafiz Naeem lauded the efforts of JI Youth in terms of making the entire province clean and green; terming it a welcome step by the JI Youth Sindh Chapter.

Hafiz Naeem further said that our Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was also taught the entire Ummah regarding planting of trees; adding that it is a encouraging sign for JI Youth Sindh to initiate such campaign to make the province clean and green. He further said that the participation of the workers and leaders of different parties, is an open evidence that the said campaign was acknowledged by all of them.

The leaders and workers of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim Alliance and others were also participated in the campaign. The JI Karachi Chief further said that the environmental pollution in the province has been increased up to the alarming stage and it is a prime obligation of all of us to play our due role in order to make the environment clean and green.

“During the campaign, the JI Youth Wing Sindh Chapter would plant millions of saplings across the Sindh Province in order to follow the Sunnah of our Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) for serving the humanity from generation to next generations”, Hafiz Naeem added.
