Bahawalpur, December 02, 2022 (PPI-OT):Department of Political Science Faculty of Social Sciences organized a seminar on New Forms of Security and Challenges for Human Security. Dr. Safdar Hussain, Assistant Professor, moderated the session. Prof. Dr. Khawaja Alkamah, Dean Faculty of Social Science, Minhaj University Lahore, former Vice Chancellor, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, was the guest speaker.
He emphasized on shifting the security threats faced by humans from traditional to modern. He reiterated that the Cultural Revolution is leading to a clash of civilizations. He suggested that states and individuals should focus on knowledge and skill development.
Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti in her concluding remarks emphasized on building knowledge base and development of social capital. Chairman Department of Political Science Prof. Dr. Syed Musavir Hussain Bukhari thanked Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob for his special support and patronage.
