Bahawalpur, July 01, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Islamia University of Bahawalpur’s 2.5 MW solar power plant is supplying electricity according to its maximum production capacity. Yesterday, 13282 units of electricity worth Rs. 571,040 were generated from University Solar Park and this success of University Solar Park was also informed by Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob to Chancellor/Governor Punjab Engr. Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman. Who expressed happiness over the performance of Solar Park.
It may be mentioned that the solar energy project of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur was set up in collaboration with the Department of Energy, Government of Punjab and has been generating electricity since last year. Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob appreciated the performance of Engr. Faizan Farhat and his staff members.
