Bahawalpur, January 24, 2023 (PPI-OT):Commissioner Bahawalpur Raja Jahangir Anwar along with Vice Chancellor Islamia University Bahawalpur Engineer Professor Dr. Athar Mehboob and President Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali Mann inaugurated the second international watercolor exhibition at Hakra Art Gallery Islamia University Bahawalpur.
Bahawalpur Museum, Sir Sadiq Art Club and College of Art and Design Islamia University Bahawalpur in collaboration with 186 artists from 42 countries exhibited their work. Commissioner Bahawalpur Raja Jahangir Anwar speaking on this occasion said that the exhibition of works of great artists from all over the world in Bahawalpur is a big event and a great gift for art lovers.
He appreciated the efforts of Vice Chancellor Engineer Professor Dr. Athar Mehboob, Director Museum Zubair Rabbani and Principal College of Art and Design Maria Ansari for organizing such a large-scale international exhibition.
On this occasion Vice Chancellor Pakistan Institute of Development Economics Dr. Nadeem ul Haq, Dean Faculty of Arts and Languages Prof. Dr. Javed Hasan Chandio, Dean Faculty of Management and Commerce Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti were also present. Among the major artists from different universities of Pakistan in the exhibition. Like nouns are participles. He also appreciated the efforts of Muhammad Ramzan Bhatti, Fatima Ali and Farjad Faiz in organizing the exhibition.
The exhibition will continue till January 24, 2023 at Bahawalpur Museum and Hakra Art Gallery at Islamia University Bahawalpur.
