Islamabad, May 17, 2018 (PPI-OT): President, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh along with the Ambassador of United Arab Emirates (UAE),H.E. Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi inaugurated a mosque at the new campus of the university.

IIUI President, through efforts and meeting with philanthropists, diplomats and renowned personalities has launched a series of construction of Mosques to the new campus and latest mosque new the HBL bank was inaugurated as part of that effort of Dr. Al-Draweesh.

The inauguration ceremony was also joined by the UAE officials, IIUI Vice Presidents and other relevant officials. The Ambassador hailed the services of IIUI and said that it would be provided maximum cooperation for dissemination of peace and promotion of education.

IIUI President said on the occasion that mosques were imperative in the Muslim society and added that these were the real institutions and hubs of learning and decisions. He retreated his resolve the progress of IIUI would be the top mot priority and it will soon make its prominent place in the well-developed educational institutions of the world. After the inauguration, dua for prosperity of IIUI and Muslim world was also offered.
