Islamabad, October 10, 2021 (PPI-OT): Rector and President of the International Islamic University (IIU) have expressed sorrow and grief over sad demise of Mohsin e Pakistan and renowned nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan. In a condolence message, Prof Dr. Masoom Yasinzai, Rector IIUI and Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, President, IIUI paid rich tributes to him for his contributions to the soil. They said Dr. Abdul Qadeer had immense love and association with Faisal Masjid and IIUI where he had many scholar friends. He had been always very kind to join many programs at the university.
They said the nation lost a hero and an asset who made Muslim World and specially Pakistan stand proud. The IIUI leadership said that Nation is heavily indebted to him for his services, efforts and contributions. Mohsin e Pakistan Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan passed away on Sunday. His Namaz e Janaza was led by his friend, IIUI ‘s Professor and Judge Supreme Court, Dr. Muhammad Al-Ghazali.
