Islamabad, December 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):In the light of prevalent situation in Federal Capital and to ensure fool proof security measures, the security of International Islamic University Islamabad has been beefed up by fully activating the turnstile gates at Men’s Hostels male campus. As per an advisory issued in this regard by Provost Men’s Hostels, the students have been advised to use turnstile gates to enter into hostels. They are also advised to keep university cards to show to security staff in case of data The IIUI administration has vowed that no stone shall be left upturned to ensure serene and secure environment at campus.

Keeping in view the prevalent situation, Vice President (Academics), IIUI Dr. Ayaz Afsar along with Provost Men’s Hostels, Dr. Ibrar Anver, Students’ Advisor Male, Dr. Rizwan Aftab, Security and relevant Officials visited the main campus and hostels.

The purpose of the visit was to ensure beefed up security at entry and exit points while it was ensured that turnstile gates are fully activated. On this occasion, the team visited hostel rooms, allied areas, met with students and listened to the problems as well. The Vice President said that the university administration is keen to ensure the safe and secure environment on campus. Moreover, the university is maintaining close liaison with Law Enforcement Agencies to maintain peaceful environment on campus.
