Karachi, November 24, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chairman Pakistan People’s Party, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met Qatar’s ambassador to Pakistan, Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman bin Faisal Al Thani. FM Chairman Bilawal congratulated the Ambassador on Qatar organising the FIFA World Cup 2022.
The Ambassador of Qatar invited FM Chairman Bilawal to watch the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. FM Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Pakistan values its relations with Qatar. The historic relations between the two countries are based on Islamic brotherhood, mutual trust and cooperation.
Jemal Beker, the first Resident Ambassador of Ethiopia to Pakistan also met FM Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. During the meeting, FM Bilawal welcomed Ethiopia for opening its embassy in Pakistan and welcomed the renewal of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Ethiopia.
The Foreign Minister welcomed the launch of direct flights in collaboration with Pakistan’s national airline, PIA and Ethiopian Airlines. The Ambassador of Ethiopia thanked the Government of Pakistan, especially the Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, for providing support in opening the embassy. Ethiopia opened its embassy in Pakistan during the tenure of Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
