Lahore, January 05, 2022 (PPI-OT):Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is pleased to announce a major win in our quest to support our humanitarian cause. We’re extremely proud to have Fakhar Zaman, the renowned Pakistani cricket icon join us as our brand ambassador.
With a high profile in the world of cricket, and his attachment with non-profit humanitarian organizations, Fakhar Zaman is an immensely popular figure. On 20 July 2018, he became the first batsman for Pakistan to score a double century in a One Day International (ODI) match. Two days later, in the same year, he became the fastest batsman to score 1,000 runs in ODIs.
Fakhar Zaman has always lent his whole hearted support to Alkhidmat Foundation’s various welfare programs. He first teamed up with Alkhidmat in 2021 when he visited Alkhidmat’s Aghosh Home for orphan children in Peshawar and Murree. Since then, he has been lending his support to improving the lives of children, especially those who hail from the most marginalized classes, with a particular focus on the importance of education and development in providing children with the best start to life.
It is in recognition of his deep commitment to welfare activities that Alkhidmat Foundation invited him to become a Goodwill Ambassador, which he accepted eagerly. The cricket icon will be representing Alkhidmat Foundation in the key events and forums where he will raise awareness about important issues and inspire communities to take interest in the welfare of suffering humanity.
