Lahore, October 04, 2022 (PPI-OT):On September 28, the Center for Security, Strategy, and Policy Research (CSSPR) hosted a Policy Roundtable on ‘Geo-economics and the Future of Pakistan’s Economic Security’. The Roundtable was part of a series of three roundtables that CSSPR will be organizing in relation to its project on unpacking geo-economics. The participants included former diplomats, military officials, economists, and policy experts.
The Roundtable was opened for discussion by Mr. Awais Raoof (Chairman, BoG). He stated in his opening remarks that dialogues like this will help to channel policy inputs to produce better results. The participants discussed the internal and external challenges that Pakistan is facing and how these can be met. The output of this roundtable will be incorporated into the project’s final report.
