Lahore, July 23, 2021 (PPI-OT):President of Pakistan Muslim League and former Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujat Hussain, Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, Federal Minister for Water Resources Moonis Elahi, Members of National Assembly Salik Hussain and Hussain Elahi along with Rasikh Elahi and other family members offered Eid prayers in Gujrat. Special care was taken of Corona SOPs during Eid prayers.
The Chaudhry brothers offered special prayers for the defense and prosperity of the country and the nation. Ch Shujat Hussain said that the threat of corona is still present. People should follow Corona SOPs while celebrating Eid. The fourth wave of corona is rising. He said that on the auspicious occasion of Eid, Kashmiri brothers, soldiers and martyrs must be remembered in prayers.
Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi said that deserving people must be involved in the joys of Eid. He said that the situation of the country is on the path of economic improvement, political forces now have to focus on the solution of the people’s problems, in the current political situation there is no space for any movement, political parties should demonstrate seriousness about solving the country’s problems.
Federal Minister for Water Resources Moonis Elahi said that the manifesto and aim of Pakistan Muslim League is to improve the conditions of the country. We have always focused on serving the people instead of individual politics. PML is still remembered for its welfare projects.
