Islamabad, December 07, 2022 (PPI-OT):Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms, Mr. Ahsan Iqbal appreciated the role of Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad in Rescue, Relief and Rehabilitation (RRR) in Flood 2022, addressing as chief guest in award distribution ceremony held in Prime Minister Office on December 5, 2022.
He saluted the Pakistani heroes who stood firmly in disasters occurs in Pakistan especially in Flood of 2022 which is internationally recognized. It is fact that Pakistan managed superbly in largest disaster of Flood 2022 with limited resources. We are proud on Pakistani heroes like Mr. Ghulam Mustafa from Computer Science department of Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad.
The team of Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad participated in the ceremony under the leadership of Registrar, Mr. Malik Arshad Mahmood along with Manager VIS, Mr. Naeem Saud and Mr. Ghulam Mustafa a student of Computer Science department of Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad.
Mr. Ghulam Mustafa received “Prime Minister Flood Heroes Award 2022” from Ambassador of Kazakhstan designated to Pakistan in presence of Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms, Mr. Ahsan Iqbal, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Chairman HEC, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Ambassador of UAE, CEO of Milkar, CEO of Akhuwat Foundation, Dr. M. Amjad Saqib and Vice President, Al Khidmat Foundation, Dr. Mushtaq Mangat,

It is worth mention here that more than 100 volunteers of CUST participated in flood (RRR) activities organized by National and International humanitarian organizations in twin cities Rawalpindi and Islamabad. All partner organizations declared impact of volunteer’s work of Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad in “Flood Relief Campaign 2022” on 5,000 flood affectees.
