Lahore, September 15, 2021 (PPI-OT):Political figures hailing from the Middle East called on Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi here and announced to join Pakistan Muslim League (PML) here today (Tuesday). Delegation included Rai Sher Ali, Mian Imran Asif, Raja Jahangir Amman, Rai Gul Sher, Mohammad Kamran and Mian Muhammad Nadeem. On this occasion General Secretary Muslim League Punjab Senator Kamil Ali Agha and Central Secretary Information Mehrene Malik Adam were also present.
Welcoming those joining PML into the party fold, Ch Parvez Elahi said that the overseas Pakistanis are playing important role in the development of friendly countries including Pakistan. He said that the local bodies system is the system which provides immediate facilities to the people at their doorsteps, this system can provide the best services for the welfare and well-being of the people, through the common efforts of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Pakistan Muslim League recommendations are being considering for improving the system.
Announcing the offices of the leaders joining the party, Ch Parvez Elahi issued them necessary directions regarding preparations for possible local bodies election. Thanking Ch Parvez Elahi, President UAE Muslim League Rai Sher Ali said that as the Chief Minister Punjab your tenure was the best, during your tenure local bodies were autonomous, peoples problems were being solved on priority basis and there was network of development works throughout the province.
