Between 2017-2019, compared to the global average of 34%; 23% Pakistanis opined determination / perseverance to be an important quality for children: Survey

Islamabad, September 15, 2020 (PPI-OT): According to the World Values Survey conducted between the years 1994-1998, respondents were asked “Is determination/perseverance an important quality for children?”” In response 33% said yes.

Comparative Picture: The question was asked again between 2017-2019 during Wave 7 of the World Values Survey to enable a comparison across the years. According to the 2019 results, 23% Pakistanis consider determination an important quality.

Global Results: Globally, 1 in 3 respondents on average consider determination/perseverance an important quality for children.
