At Saudi Arabia’s request, OIC to discuss Israeli racist law

Jeddah At the request of Saudi Arabia, the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) will hold on Wednesday a meeting at the level of permanent representatives to discuss Israel’s racist law, known as the “Nation-State of the Jewish People”, and its impact on the political and historical rights of the Palestinian people.

The meeting aims to adopt a unified Islamic position regarding the Israeli racist law, which represents an extension and a consolidation of the Israeli settlement ideology and an attempt to legitimize the occupation policies based on Judaization, ethnic cleansing and denial of the existence of the Palestinian people, their identity, history and legitimate rights. The law also constitutes a flagrant violation of the will and laws of the international community and of the Charter of the United Nations and its relevant resolutions.
