Karachi, June 26, 2018 (PPI-OT): Admissions at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU) Karachi for next Semester FALL-2018 has been started this week for Bachelor and Master Degree programs. According to a spokesman of the university students may submit their admission forms by July 14, 2018. Moreover, students may also submit on line admission forms available at university web site. In its Bachelor degree program, MAJU has announced admissions in BBA, BS in Biosciences, Accounting and Finance, Computer Science, Software, Electrical and Computer System Engineering.
For Master degree programs admissions have been offered for MBA, MCS and MS in Management Sciences, Economics and Finance, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Software and Electrical Engineering. According to spokesman, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) has allowed exemption of 8 papers out of 14 papers to MAJU students of BS-Accounting and Finance while doing their CA.
The spokesman said that MAJU has recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) for mutual cooperation in education and research activities with two Turkish universities Kadir Has University and Iskenderun Teknik University.He said as a result of these MOUs, MAJU students may go to study at Turkish universities under students exchange program without paying any extra charges.
It may also be noted that MAJU degree programs have already given recognitions and accreditations from Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and National Computing Education Accreditations Council. (NCEAC) Besides, MAJU in order to provide quality and objective educationhas foreign qualified PhD’s and industry experienced faculty, have collaboration with Turkey and Malaysian universities and provide scholarships and financial assistanceto students.
