Bahawalpur, September 13, 2022 (PPI-OT):A camp has been set up at Wasib Hall for fund raising and distribution of relief items to help the flood victims organized by the Directorate of Alumni, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and the Tafukur-wa-Chapter Bahawalpur. Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob along with Focal Person for Flood Victims Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha, Director Alumni Dr. Azhar Hussain and Director Press Media and Publications Shehzad Ahmed Khalid visited this relief camp.
On this occasion, Masood Saber, head of the Bahawalpur Alumni Chapter, informed the Vice-Chancellor in a briefing that 5 lakh cash and relief materials have been collected so far and these goods will soon be handed over to the flood relief camp of the university to help the needy. Hamad Bashir, Vice President of Tafukur-wa-Chapter Alumni was also present on this occasion. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the initiative taken by Bahawalpur Alumni Chapter to help the flood victims and appreciated the efforts of Masood Saber, Dr. Azhar Hussain, Hamad Bashir and Waqar Younis.
